East Coast Opponauts and Jaolps finally something worth posting about. Wanted to make pictures of the event my first post, but I cant wait. Starting October 12 and running through the end of the year The North Carolina Museum of Art will be having a Porsche exhibit.
From the museum: Porsche by Design: Seducing Speed marks the North Carolina Museum of Art's first design exhibition, exploring the history and development of the Porsche lineage from the 30's to the present day.
Exhibits will include cars owned by Steve McQueen, Ralph Lauren, Janis Joplin, the Panamericana concept car, the Type 64 Berlin-Rom racer and more than 20 other historically significant Porsches. The exhibit was put together by Ken Gross the automotive journalist and former Peterson Automotive Museum curator and the NCMA. I plan on seeing him speak at 2:30 today. I will be out of the county when Jeff Zwart speaks on Sunday, October 13, 2013 but would love to hear the seven time Pikes Peak champion talk about his experiences working for Porsche and the commercials he filmed. If you are in the area I would recommend not only this talk but the exhibit. I will even miss the grand opening but hope to post some photos from the Malaga, Spain Automotive Museum.
Don't miss the Porsche videos posted on the museum website here. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
